2. Booking and Reservation
- To reserve a place at an event, you must complete the online booking form and complete the payment process.
- Upon successful booking, you will receive a confirmation email, followed by a payment confirmation email.
- Legal Programming reserves the right to cancel bookings due to incorrect or incomplete payments, invalid discount codes, or other reasonable circumstances.
- If an event is fully booked, we will notify you and process a refund immediately.
3. Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms apply to all anybody participating in our courses or using our services.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Use of Services
- Users must ensure that all information provided is accurate and up to date.
- Users must comply with all applicable laws and not engage in any fraudulent or unethical behavior.
4.2 Prohibited Conduct
- Unauthorized distribution or reproduction of course materials.
- Disruptive behavior that affects the learning experience of others.
- Any use of Legal Programming’s services for illegal activities.
5. Access to Products and Enrolment
- Course access is granted only to registered participants.
- Users may not share or transfer their access credentials.
6. Payments and Refunds
- Payments must be made via a valid debit or credit card or another accepted method.
- Payments are processed through our third-party provider, Stripe, and are subject to their terms and conditions.
- Legal Programming may change course prices at any time, but price changes will not affect tickets already purchased.
6.1 Refund Policy
- You may cancel your purchase and request a full refund within 72 hours of purchase.
- No refunds will be made within 7 days prior to the event date.
- If you are unable to attend, you may nominate a substitute delegate to take your place.
- Apart from the situations mentioned above, no refunds will be issued.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Intellectual Property
- All logos, designs, presentation materials, and course content are the exclusive intellectual property of Legal Programming Ltd.
- Attendees will build up computer code during the event under the guidance of the presenter. This code remains the copyright of Legal Programming Ltd. Attendees are granted a non-commercial license to use, amend, and create derivative works from the code.
Attendees will also receive practice documents and other materials to automate during the course. They are granted a license to use these materials in their own environment for personal and professional use. However, they are not permitted to sell, sublicense, or otherwise monetize the provided code or documents (together referred to as the Product), except for their own automation processes.
7.2 User Content
Any content you submit as part of the course remains your property, but by submitting it, you grant Legal Programming a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for training and promotional purposes.
8. Disclaimers and Liability
8.1 Disclaimers
While Legal Programming fully commits to providing high-quality training resulting in a workable solution, it must be acknowledged that each individual's capabilities are different.
- Legal Programming makes no guarantees about the applicability or effectiveness of the skills learned during the course.
- Courses are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
- Legal Programming is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss resulting from participation in our courses or events.
- In no event shall Legal Programming’s liability exceed the total amount paid by the user for the event or course.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Legal Programming Ltd, its affiliates, employees, and instructors harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of:
- Your use of our services.
- Your use of the Product.
- Any violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
Legal Programming reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to any user who violates these Terms without prior notice.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by arbitration in Hungary.
12. Modifications & Updates
- We may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements.
- If changes are significant, we will notify users via email and on our website.
